Judge Dee: The City God Case
Judge Dee, newly appointed magistrate of the Yiwang prefect, travels in his new jurisdiction to the isolated town, where strange things happen. The chief official threw a celebration in honor of his son's birthday which happened to fall on a locally-revered sacred day. Despite many objections, Shizhang insisted on the celebration. But the festivities came to a sudden and violent end when his young son Shen fell unconscious.
